I wanted my wedding in the fall, but somehow the colors don%26#039;t seem fallish. I don%26#039;t want it in the spring becuase i am having it outside and there is too much chance of rain i think. Summer would be fine but would fall be so bad?|||Your color choice would be beautiful for any time of the year. The colors sound very elegant.
Best Wishes.|||It would be fine. Use whatever colors make you happy. It%26#039;s your wedding day. My cousin had a purple and Cream wedding in december...Lol.
I got married last October and used dark red (the color name was claret) and burnt orange as my colors, and I used fall decorations (pumpkins, hay bales, mums, etc.). My dress was cream colored (white just seemed like to stark of a contrast, and in the dress I bought, white didn%26#039;t show all the intricate bead work like the cream did). It was an outdoor wedding and on a lake. I have to say it was perfect. The trees there were just starting to turn orange......it was the best day of my life (so far).
Piece of advice: don%26#039;t worry so much. Don%26#039;t worry to the point that you stress out and have a panic attack the night before (I did. I was worried about the weather, what if we didn%26#039;t have enough food at the reception, what if the wind got up, etc.). Everything will be fine and it will all fall into place.|||Summer is overrated when you%26#039;re wearing a tuxedo in the sweltering heat... or so I%26#039;ve been told ;o)
The sage green and ivory/cream would totally work. If you want to add a secondary color spash to make it more fall-ish, consider an earthtone brown, or even a chocolate would work.
Orange would too.. but that%26#039;s a really bold color in contrast to the sage.
Little touches in the florals, however, could totally bring out the fall feeling. Whatever you do, you%26#039;ll have fun and everyone will ask you where you came up with your ideas.
Keep searching, it%26#039;s out there! Good luck :o)|||Those are wonderful colors for any season, and really great for fall. Choosing colors by season can sometimes be the wrong way to go. You wind up eliminating a lot of beautiful colors just because %26quot;someone%26quot; says you shouldn%26#039;t wear them in a particular season. Go for the warmer, creamier ivory, and you%26#039;re set!|||I think sage and ivory are great in the fall. Use fall colored flowers (yellow, rust, orange, burg) on the sage background and it will be very seasonal.
Just use a deeper sage rather than a bright sage. More celedon really.|||Spring, really. I agree with having it in the fall, but if you really like the sage, you%26#039;ll need to stay away from the ivory or cream in the fall.
See http://www.prye.com/view/wedding_colors.鈥?/a> and scroll down to Fall Wedding Colors.|||Sage green and Ivory/Cream are excellent choices, no matter the season. And a fall wedding, with those colors, against the backdrop of the vivid hues of changing leaves, will be GORGEOUS!!!!|||No I don%26#039;t think those colors would be bad for fall at all. I don%26#039;t think it really matters at all. Pick what you want and mesh it together. No one will even notice but you =)|||I think fall would be the best option. You could even accent with burnt orange or something a little more %26#039;fall-y%26#039;. You can have whatever colors you want, any time you want!|||I am doing Hunter Green, with chocolate and ivory accents in the fall.
I think it would be okay to use your colors in the fall.|||i think fall because all the green goes away so if u have those color decos or bridesmaid dresses it would be a fun color! :]|||Idont worry about which colors go with what season. My favorite color is yellow, so I%26#039;d use yellow if it was May or December.|||Do it in fall if you want it in fall!! It%26#039;s your wedding! Enjoy it! :) It will look pretty whichever season you choose!|||I think fall would be good...throw a little burnt orange or dark reds in the bouqets and it%26#039;ll look beautiful..
