Where can I buy a big Tub of green tea ice cream? I used to get some from Whole Foods but they add WAY too much sugar and it doesn%26#039;t taste the same like in Japanese restaurants. And it%26#039;s $3.50 for a scoop, so I was hoping I can just get a whole tub of it from somewhere?? Does anyone know??|||try a local asian store. like a chinese one
i went there once and they had like mango
and green tea. so i%26#039;m pretty sure they would
have some there.|||I don%26#039;t know but I had it in a restaurant years ago and loved it. I hope you find a source.|||i dont know but there%26#039;s a shop called Uzumaki that sells some great green tea ice cream but in cones. they taste like the original green tea not those crazily sweetened ones|||Try an Asian supermarket. Here in NJ, you can find many such markets, as well as in metro NY. Any area with a large Asian community will have such a supermarket.
Good luck!|||try local foodmarts that carry ethnic food, big asian stores also carry them|||1. For the large Gallon type.
Try Nishimoto Trading company.
http://www.nishimototrading.com/
They%26#039;re Japanese Restaurant suppliers. In fact there are so many of them, but this one is by far one of the larger dry and packaged goods suppliers.
2. For the smaller 1/2 gallon type.
Try either Costco or Smart and final.
I saw it there.
I scream you scream we all scream for green tea ice cream.
LOL.
Enjoy.|||try fosselmans in southern california. Im sure they will ship. they make it themselves on site|||In an ethnic asian store you might be able to get it. It is really a great taste. My suggestion is to get a 49 dollar ice cream maker and get a good recipe and make it with good ingredients at home. You will love it and its easy!|||u can make it yourself.|||I%26#039;ve tried lots of pre-mades, but this is the best, I think! I start with Costco%26#039;s Kirkland brand Super Premium Vanilla Ice Cream. Soften and put in to Cuisinart or blender and sprinkle with Green Tea Powder (maccha) and blend! I used about 3 tsp for 1/2 gallon, but that can be adjusted to taste. Return to freezer to firm. It%26#039;s fabulous, creamy and is better than any I%26#039;ve purchased pre-made!|||At the Chinese or Japanese supermarket in your local area.
