I have been told that pure bred poodles can not have green eyes I jusst wanted to know if this is true or not.|||Eye color, coat color, and even size cannot determine whether the dog is purebred. While you could not enter your dog in a show, as a pet, there isn%26#039;t anything wrong with the way your poodle is.
Remember---There are some ugly purebred dogs out there...|||Light colored eyes are a fault.
Eyes-- very dark, oval in shape and set far enough apart and positioned to create an alert intelligent expression. Major fault: eyes round, protruding, large or very light.
That doesn%26#039;t mean they aren%26#039;t purebred though. It just means that you wont be winning any dog shows.|||I haven%26#039;t had any problems with my poodle.
